Radio Lear, known as Leicester Emergent Arts Radio, is a volunteer-driven community radio station and creative media project broadcasting from Leicester. The initiative foregrounds metamodern sound and experimental audio practice, blending creative music, sound art, storytelling and discussion in formats that challenge conventional broadcast structures. Radio Lear provides a platform for local artists, producers and community participants to co-create innovative content, podcasts and sonic experiences that reflect contemporary culture and emergent creative practice. It operates with a ethos of inclusivity, experimentation and participatory engagement rather than commercial mass-audience programming.

Each year, many Muslim communities across the UK are awarded a short term Radio licence by Ofcom, the UK's communications regulator. The “Ramadan Economy” in the UK, is estimated to be worth over £200 million. Many communities apply for the licence so that they may broadcast during Ramadan, a month in which holds special spiritual value for Muslims around the World. The Ramadan Radio in Leicester, called Ramadan FM, is a not for-profit organisation. With many successful years of broadcast, the experienced management team continues to offer an exceptional Radio output. Working closely with volunteers, to create engaging and innovative programming.
Satsang Radio is a volunteer-run community radio service based in Leicester, operated by the Hindu Sanskar Charity (Charity No. 1117667).
