It was a warm and sunny day here in Leicester. Perfect weather for a celebration of achievement by women who learn to knit and crochet over Zoom during the lockdown. Presenting hand made blankets to Action Homeless, and hearing from Hindu Climate Action about the importance of recycling. Supported by Leicester Ageing Together, it was great to feel the joy and excitement of people who had made new friends, learnt new skills and formed a strong social bond despite the challenges of the lockdown.
