Decentered Media Podcast 051 – The How and the What of Community Media?

Tonight’s Decentered Media podcast discussion was with Amos Bilson, who researches the role of community media in the UK as it relates to the experience of people from Africa, and Jon Woodcock, who works for Voluntary Action Leicestershire, who are launching the inVALuable Network which aims to help “charities, voluntary organisations, community groups, social enterprises & businesses to share good practice.” We talked about the connections between what we do to make this work in practice, and what we do to understand why people are driven to support a community to which they belong.
